In our latest music series #MyStyleMySound, supporting upcoming artists in association with Metropolis Studios, we worked with with some of the artists to create some customised ellesse outfits to give them a unique look.
Stylists Gemma Swann and Trisha Lewis used their magic to create a fun and quirky look for the fabulous and unique artists Rina Mushonga, with bright and psychedelic tie dye printed t-shirts in two different colours.
Taking a plain long sleeved t-shirt and a logo print ellesse t-shirt, and giving it a completely customised look that you won’t get anywhere else! Our stylist took the Melina T-Shirt and the men’s Ristoro Long Sleeved T-Shirt, and created one-off customised tie dye t-shirts for Rina.
If you’re interested in creating your own customised outfit similar to this, then check out our video for a step-by-step guide.
Step 1: Wash your selected t-shirt, it’s best to choose a plain white one for the best results.
Step 2: Pinch and twist the fabric to create the pattern you want.
Step 3: Tie the t-shirt together with elastic bands.
Step 4: Select the colours you want to use from your tie dye kit.
Step 5: Apply the dye to both sides of the t-shirt.
Step 6: Cover and wrap the t-shirt for 24 hours.
Step 7: Unwrap the t-shirt after 24 hours.
Step 8: Wash the t-shirt by itself.
See Rina Mushonga working it in her ellesse hacked t-shirts in her music videos, performed live at Metropolis Studios for ellesse music sessions #MyStyleMySound.
