In our latest music series #MyStyleMySound, supporting upcoming artists in association with Metropolis Studios, we worked with with some of the artists to create some customised ellesse outfits to give them a unique look.
Stylists Gemma Swann and Trisha Lewis used their magic to create a customised tracksuit for the captivating singer songwriter Alyusha, taking a men’s tracksuit and turning it into a funky and unique women’s outfit. Our stylist took the Mannio Hoody and Nardo Track Pants, and created a one-off customised tracksuit for Alyusha featuring a cropped design.
If you’re interested in creating your own customised outfit similar to this, then check out our video for a step-by-step guide.
Step 1: Select an outfit – our stylists went with the Mannio Hoody worn with the Nardo Track Pants.
Step 2: Roll the sleeves to the position you want them in.
Step 3: Remove the zip and drawstrings.
Step 4: Fold the seams to where you want the jacket to end and pin the seams.
Step 5: Mark the correct position and carefully cut across.
Step 6: Sew the seams in the correct position.
Step 7: Iron the seams for a smooth edge and finish.
Step 8: Re-attach the drawstrings if want to keep them included.
Step 9: Sew the drawstrings back on if you choose.
See Alyusha wearing her ellesse hacked tracksuit in her music videos, performed live at Metropolis Studios for ellesse music sessions #MyStyleMySound.
